A recovering alcoholic, Tony Stark is one of the richest and most brilliant men in the world. Though his identity as the man inside the iron suit was known publicly that fact was recently erased by Marvel. Tony's identity is once again secret, for what it's worth.

Tony Stark was once just an opportunistic entrepreneur and inventor, albeit a hugely successful one, who was gravely injured and captured while traveling through a war zone. As the character has been re-conceptualized over the years, the locale of that war zone has occasionally been altered to be more timely. But the outcome is always the same: In order to keep his damaged heart functioning, Stark is forced to design a high-tech chest-plate. And around that, he soon builds a suit of armor, hence becoming Iron Man, and thus making his escape from his captors in the Mark I suit.

Finding a new calling in life as the heroic Iron Man, Stark devotes much of his resources to the refining of his armor and its amazing technology. Some of his tech includes: Repulsor rays, uni-beams, and force fields, not to mention the armor's ability to give its user super-strength and flight.

How do I install a wallpaper?

All file formats for the desktop backgrounds are in JPEG format. To place one on your desktop, right-click on the picture and select Set as Wallpaper in either Microsoft Explorer or Netscape Navigator. If needed, you can then use the Center and Strech command of the Display Background Properties in Microsoft Windows. For Mac users, just drag the image to your desktop and that's it!

Or you can use Winwall, a great program which allows you to change your wallpaper at random or at given time intervals. Also available is Tropical Wares' free version of WallMaster, a feature-packed wallpaper manager which earned a 5-star rating on ZDNet.
